Everyday we are faced with situations and challenges that seem to overwhelm us to the degree that we just want to hide away from life and from everyone. Everything takes on a deeper shade of grey and in our minds we think that this is it. God has forgotten us.
Sometimes the situation is of our own making and at others times the situation is thrust upon us. Whatever the case maybe, however, God wants us to know that we will get through it.
Yes it may seem dark and dreary right now but there is hope in spite of the rain. The sun will shine again. You will get through this.
Why I am so certain that you will get through this? Because God said it and He just cannot lie.
He said that He will never leave you or forsake you. That means that He is right in the situation with you. Now, if God is there with you, you do not have to worry or even wonder if you will get through. Remember He is God.
One word from Him quieted the winds and the storms. One word from Him raised Lazarus, who was dead for four days. One word from Him caused a fig tree to wither and die. One word from Him changes everything. That powerful God is with you and in you, by His Spirit.
Hold on my friend, you will get through this for God is with you even though you do not feel him or see Him. He will see you through this and you will get through this. Trust Him. He is with you all the way. Remember what He did for you in the past and know that He will do it for you again.
You will get through this!!
